How to take part
COME TO ADA.ADA.ADA. She Can Code is bringing Ada.Ada.Ada. to Aotearoa – a high impact show tells the story of Ada Lovelace who wrote the world’s first complex computer program in 1843 using an LED dress which she operates live on stage with her wearable tech satin glove! The show is open to everyone.
COME TO A HANDS-ON WORKSHOP. Girls and non-binary children and youth can explore coding, robotics and computer science at this interactive tech workshop. We want to show them the tech sector is a place for them! The workshops are for girls, women and non-binary people age 8–18 years (parents and caregivers are welcome to attend with their child).
If you identify as a girl, woman or non-binary person and you code during 20–26th MAY, add your location to the map below. Last year we had over 5000 coders from around Aotearoa. Help us beat that number this year!
Code Clubs and schools can enter our Kool Kids Code competition. Simply enter the total number of girls and non-binary children coding in a single session to WIN PRIZES. Read the competition's terms and conditions for full information.
Give Coding a Go
